A Foundational Structure for Learning 2.0

Much has changed.  Change is constant.  ..And today, change is happening in schools.  School leaders and classroom teachers are combining efforts to resist the conservative status-quo-sustaining nature of the institution and seeking to define and implement learning 2.0.  For many of our students, change is status-quo.  They've watched an emerging dynamic and exciting information environment and are handy at utilizing the technologies that are giving rise to it.  Their outside-the-classroom information experiences are deep, divers, rich, and compelling -- and understanding these information experiences may be the key to achieving learning 2.0 in our classrooms. Spend some time exploring nine characteristics of these networked and digital information experiences and observe how they might be -- and are being harnessed in classrooms around the world.
